Donald Trump sobre Elon Musk

The statements were made through Truth Social where, “we want Venezuela to immediately accept all prisoners, and the people of mental institutions”

The president of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, said that Venezuela will pay a high price if he does not accept his “prisoners.” The statements occur in the midst of tensions between the two countries after the deployment of US military ships near Venezuelan things.

The statements were made through Truth Social where, “we want Venezuela to immediately accept all prisoners, and the people of mental institutions, which includes the worst asylums of the world, that Venezuelan leadership has forced to go to the United States of America.”

He added that thousands of people have been seriously injured and even “killed by those monsters” and urged the Government of Venezuela to “take them out” from the US immediately or pay an “incalculable” price.

The United States increased in August its military presence in international waters justifying the need to “combat drug trafficking” and with the focus on the Los Soles poster that, according to Trump’s government, is led by Nicolás Maduro.

Meanwhile, Trump has equated immigrants with criminals and mentally ill, an argument with which he has developed his arrest and deportation campaign.

He has also invoked a law used in times of war, now disputed in the courts, to expel hundreds of Venezuelans who are accused of belonging to the criminal organization of Aragua, declared terrorist by his government.

According to figures from the Government of Nicolás Maduro, more than 13,000 migrants have returned to Venezuela since the beginning of the year.
