The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, disclosed the letter sent by President Nicolás Maduro to Donald Trump, where he reveals “the irrefutable truth of Venezuela”, supported by maps and scientific data endorsed by international organizations, evidencing “our homeland is a free territory of any illicit activity.”
In the letter, President Maduro reminded Trump for conversations with his special envoy Rick Grenelll, where Venezuela’s impeccable history was announced in the fight against international illicit drug trafficking.
In addition, the Venezuelan head of state warned that it is sought, with fake news and undercover operations, attack Venezuela, so he urged the US counterpart to unite wills to defeat the campaign of lies “that fill a relationship with noise that has to be historical and peaceful, as our Liberator Simón Bolívar visualized.”
