The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, said that “today by sovereign decision, the Ezekiel National Peasant Union was born to give the battle for production, economic independence and the peace of the country.”
In this sense, the Head of State congratulated the peasant men and women, for their effort, commitment and delivery in the construction of productive Venezuela
He stressed that “the constituent popular process has allowed reunification, rebirth and resurrection of the great peasant movement Ezequiel Zamora and Hugo Chávez Frías.”
“And to the peoples of our America we are told: here is the people of Venezuela, united, standing and victorious,” said the Head of State, while reaffirming that he specified that the blue book constitutes the foundational text of the Bolivarian project, by collecting the essential ideas for the resurrection of the original project of Simón Bolívar and Ezequiel Zamora.
In that context, he stressed that this historical document establishes the ideological system that guides the country and the revolutionary project, and that it must inspire the peasant force that is born today with renewed commitment in defense of national sovereignty and social justice.
Next peasant encounter will be in Guárico
President Nicolas Maduro Moros informed that the next meeting of the Foundational Congress of the National Campesina Union Ezequiel Zamora (UNCEZ) will take place in the Guárico state, historical land of agricultural struggle and production.
Then, he highlighted the full compliance with the agreements reached in the Peasant Founding Congress, held on July 18, 2025.
He said that the various points that must be addressed to improve the work of farmers in the country, such as diversity in planting seeds, solidarity with the peasant brother; The reunification to strengthen the country’s productive system, the strengthening of the structure and the permanent reimpulso of work and action.
