In the discussion of the reform to the Amparo Law “It is worth it” that in the Senate is reviewed in which cases an amparo can be promoted in the name of others to prevent the figure from being used with “political background to damage”, as happened with Andrés Manuel and Gonzalo López Beltrán, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said.
Likewise, the president declared, to prevent this legal figure from being abused, as they do tax debtors.
The important thing with these changes of laws, he said, is to do the most expeditious justice, but “the incredible thing about everything (s) that was already a year that President (Andrés Manuel) López Obrador left the government and remain obsessed; is that they still do not just understand that Mexico changed.” He questioned that “the hypocritical right now puts the sack of morality.”
In the morning of the people, the legal counselor of the Presidency, Ernestina Godoy, said that this reform does not weaken to the protection, strengthens it, because it seeks its update and modernization to be more agile and simple.
The initiative “keeps it as a coat of citizenship, but no longer as a refuge for those who seek to avoid justice. Covering to defend rights is justice, protecting itself to hide crimes is impunity,” he said.
Yesterday he stressed that the amparo trial is guaranteed in the Constitution and that it is incorporated to develop it digitally with full legal validity.
It also states that when accounts freeze, the court “will leave the necessary resources for the payment of labor, fiscal and food obligations, as well as ensure the subsistence of the natural person and the food creditors.”
In addition, it will allow the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) to “may require, obtain and disseminate financial information for the prevention and detection of operations with resources of illegal origin or related illegal behaviors”.
For his part, Arturo Zaldívar, General Coordinator of Policy and Government, said that “with the crime we are facing it is very difficult to combat money laundering, and it is necessary to strengthen the research and intelligence capabilities of the Mexican State.”
Above all, he declared, when the FIU blocks an account presumably from organized crime, and “all accounts are being released.”
