The opposition leader who remains in hiding, insisted on the need to prepare for change and recalled the citizen organization for the 2024 presidential election
The opposition leader María Corina Machado called on this Saturday to all Venezuelans to mobilize, prepare and organize to participate on October 19 in the canonization of José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles.
Machado, through a video posted on his social networks urged his followers to maintain focus on organization and union. “My dear Venezuelans, dear teams, we continue to advance in the preparations to raise this new, good, bright, bright that we all long for,” he said.
He said that “we are going forward, prepared for the moment he approaches. Venezuela will be free. This is happening and we are going together by the hand of God until the end,” he said.

“You remember how we prepare for the elections on July 28, for months, day by day, until the previous night and in vigil came, as a family, we were all ready for that great citizen deed. Now we are doing it again by the hand of God and our saints, José Gregorio Hernández and the mother [Carmen] Rendilles, ”he said in the video.
He stressed that the value of “prayer and organization” is necessary to face the day of October 19, and made reference to the importance of maintaining unity.
“In the next few weeks we will see our country filling all the streets of Venezuela and so many of our most beloved family and friends, our children returning home,” said the opposition leader.
