Caio Bonfim is the world champion of the 20 km of the athletic march. The achievement was confirmed early in the early hours of Saturday (20), in Brasília time, in a race in Tokyo. Caio Bonfim won the race with the time of 1:18:35, followed by Chinese Zhaozhao Wang (1:18:43) and Spanish Paul McGrath (1:18:45). In the female race, Viviane Lyra was the 12th place, with the time of 1:29:02, and Gabriele Muniz (CASE-DF) ended 32º (1:34:28). Érica Sena (Pinheiros-SP) abandoned the race after the third kilometer.
