The Sectorial Vice President of Communication and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, held this Friday a meeting with popular communicators in Petare, Miranda State. This was reported in his Telegram channel, where he said that the issue of psychological war was addressed, “in this new era where decadent capitalism has generated a new possibility of radicalizing its domain.”
The Minister of Communication and Information also said that the scenario that is reissued in this century with new technologies, originates a pragmatic change in communication, sociabilization, and in the form of cultural and communicational consumption.
«Venezuela today faces the threat of a war war that caused by the American Empire; This siege cannot be seen in isolation. We are talking about progressive confrontation with an empire that is in decline, and whose actions also affect South America and the Caribbean, ”he warned.
Information, networks and depolitization
He explained that “the siege towards Venezuela has to be understood as a geopolitical play with a broad and transcendental reading that is inevitably connected to the management of information, of what is projected through social networks and algorithms that exist today with the sole purpose of dissociation and depoliticize the individual of reality,” he said.
Ñáñez caught attention to “cognitive war” that is used to “lead the individual brain to automated program. If the individual is isolated, it is vulnerable; No brain is reluctant to the algorithms that exist on social networks. All human intelligence is susceptible to artificial intelligence algorithms ».
He added that «our spirituality, our religiosity, our spirit of struggle, humor, authenticity, and the power to reinvent ourselves in the face of capacities, is what the algorithm of digital technologies cannot understand or decipher. These are characteristics that have made us resilient and bold in the face of difficulties ».
He considers that “we are empowered from our territory and a great historical, cultural and political awareness that has been built in the Bolivarian Revolution, and repowering with President Nicolás Maduro; But this historical, cultural and political awareness has also been accompanied by the genius of the people, which has remained organized and struggling before the countless threats of the American empire ».
Therefore, he warned that “we cannot escape the cognitive war, but we can face it with conscience, with strategy and, of course, with political will. If the purpose of the digital era is individualization, Venezuela has a social algorithm called Bolivarian Revolution, which was constituted with Hugo Chávez Frías,” he added.
