A man and his 2-year-old baby are murdered in Jardines de Espinosa, in La Chorrera

Police sources confirmed that this act of blood is related to the rivalry between two gangs, to which the victim and the murderers presumably belong.

An approximately 25-year-old man and his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter were shot to death inside a residence in the Jardines de Espinosa neighborhood in the La Chorrera district on Wednesday night.

The infant’s father died inside the house, while the girl died in the emergency room of the Nicolás A. Solano regional hospital, where she had been transferred in a National Police vehicle.

The deceased, who lived in the San Nicolás sector in La Chorrera, was visiting the Los Espinosa neighborhood where a nanny was in charge of caring for the minor.

Police sources confirmed that this act of blood is related to the rivalry between two gangs, to which the victim and the murderers presumably belong.

Weeks ago, the man had already been warned and threatened by one of his murderers, who lives in the same neighborhood.

The National Police continues to carry out operations to find the alleged murderers, who were identified by witnesses to the event.
