The Federal Police (PF) informed on Friday (19) to Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF), that federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) did not take effective actions to coerce the court. 
The conclusion is in the investigation report sent to the minister, who is rapporteur of the investigation in which Zambelli is investigated for coercion crimes in the course of the process and investigation obstruction.
The inquiry was opened in June after the deputy fled to Italy to escape the conviction by the Supreme Court to 10 years in prison for the invasion of the electronic system of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), occurred in 2023.
In determining the beginning of the investigation, Moraes cited Zambelli publications on social networks and said that the deputy intended to adopt the “same modus operandi” used by federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), who is in the United States, for the “practice of illicit conduct.”

Before being arrested in Italy, Zambelli traveled to the United States and started posting with criticism of Moraes.
In the assessment of the delegate responsible for the case, although Zambelli said he intended to go to Italy to promote acts of obstruction of justice, the statements did not result in effective actions.
“Although the intention to thwart the application of criminal law was verbalized, Carla Zambelli’s behavior, except for better judgment, did not exceed the field of rhetoric, and there is no evidence of success in the adoption of expedients, contacts, joints or measures able to compromise the regular progress of criminal action,” says the report.
The conclusions of the PF will be analyzed by the minister. Moraes may file the inquiry, ask for new due diligence to the PF or send the case to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR).
Escape
For having double citizenship, Zambelli left Brazil in May this year, after being convicted by the Supreme Court.
According to the case that resulted in the conviction, Zambelli was the intellectual plaintiff of the invasion of the CNJ system to issue a false arrest term against Alexandre de Moraes. According to investigations, the hacking was performed by Walter Delgatti, who was also convicted and confirmed that he had done the work at the behest of the parliamentarian.
After the escape to Italy, the Brazilian government requested the extradition of the deputy to Brazil. Carla Zambelli’s extradition request was made official on June 11 by the minister. Then the request was sent by Itamaraty to the Italian government.
