The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) drew, this Friday (19), at its headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro, the confrontations of the quarterfinals of the Women’s Brazil Cup. One of them is the classic majestic, between Sao Paulo and Corinthians, reissuing the finals of the Brazilian Championship last year and the 2025 female supercop.
In the 2024 Brasileirão decision, the Brabas took the best. The change of sovereigns came in this year’s Super Cup, with a penalty shootout. The tricolors, by the way, will be the principals of the unique game between the rivals, worth the semifinals.
In other clashes, highlighting international and railway, which face each other in an eliminatory duel for the third year in a row. The matches have always been for the quarterfinals of the Brasileirão. Both in 2023 and 2024, the Grenas warriors qualified. Colorada girls were drawn as housewives from the house for the duel of this Brazilian Cup.
The other games oppose Paulista and northeastern teams. Palmeiras face Sport, while Red Bull Bragantino faces Bahia. The lecturers and the gross mass are the principals of the clashes. The base date for matches is next Wednesday (24), but the CBF will still disclose the days and times of the games.
The Female Brazil Cup returned this year to the calendar of the sport. The competition organized by CBF was initially played between 2007 and 2016, being the main one in the country until 2012 – the Brasileirão came the following season. With two titles, Santos and São José are the biggest winners.
Among the participants of 2025, only railway (2014) and Corinthians (2016) were enjoying being champions. The conquest alvinegra was in partnership with Audax, who was the owner of the place in the tournament.
