The frequent teaching stoppages starring the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP) less than 30 days of the School Year 2025-2026 show a great lack of authority in the management of the public school system by the authorities of the Ministry of Education.
This state agency has not announced any sanction for those responsible for reducing 2 hours to the schedule of the batch program extended in 80 schools of the Santo Domingo Este municipality, in the Santo Domingo province.
The extended batch is one of the most important programs of the public school system, because it allows mothers who work to leave their children safe in schools, where they also receive food and other benefits.
