On the occasion of the start of the new school year, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, leads from the state La Guaira, an activity to supervise the advances of the military communal brigades for education and health (Bricomiles) for the recovery of schools.
In the activity, the national president highlighted the three years of the creation of the Bricomiles. “Today we are precisely in the permanent days because we have a set of works by the Bricomiles that have turned three years, we create them with the 1 × 10 of good governance and have been a blessing to recover schools, high schools, health centers and beyond throughout our country,” he said.
The head of state also emphasized that these brigades have contributed to the construction of a solid popular base. “In addition, they have been contributing to what we have today: a great popular power.”
“Venezuela has great power today, but all power is based on the power of the people, there are no aerial institutions (…) In Venezuela there is a democracy with deep feet in the field, we are in the field, Venezuela builds with its own hands the new economy, the new society and walking with its own feet without depending on anyone,” he emphasized.
He also highlighted the deep union that connects it with the Venezuelan people, by reaffirming their only commitment to the homeland and its values. “The people of Venezuela are priceless and they are not sold to anyone. That is the issue of why the oligarchies sell homelands, the same ones that betrayed Bolívar and killed Zamora (…) our people always have the same attitude, and those oligarchies of the empire know that we have no price.”
As part of the strengthening of the communal state, the Head of State highlighted the work of the Hugo Chávez urban complex in La Guaira, which catalog as an example of the strengthening of popular power.
For his part, the Governor of the State of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, stressed that three thousand 760 dignified homes have been built in the Commander Commander Hugo Chávez, where more than 21 thousand Guaireñas and Guaireños of the community have benefited. This urbanism embodies a solid leadership, committed to collective well -being and, deeply, rooted in the love of the country, he said.
