The Departmental Health Service (Headquarters) of La Paz published this Tuesday a list of places authorized for vaccination against Covid-19 in fourth dose. Among the people invited to access it are people over 60 years of age and health personnel.
“You can now receive your second booster dose (fourth dose). If you have an underlying disease, you are a health worker or you are over 60 years old, go to the authorized vaccination points,” states the invitation from the Headquarters, made public in its social media.
It then details that the places where you can access this vaccine are: Plaza San Francisco, Plaza San Pedro, Plaza Bolivia, Mega Center, Minasa Terminal and the La Paz Bus Terminal.
The fourth dose has been enabled since mid-February, but until now it was reserved for people in risk groups and those who need the full scheme to travel abroad. Something that was reiterated this Wednesday by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

“Our priority is people who have not yet been vaccinated with any dose. Vaccination is enabled for all age groups, for any booster dose, the fourth dose has been authorized for certain age groups,” said the head of said State portfolio, Jeyson Auza, according to a statement. In it, it was specified that the application of the fourth dose was authorized for people with underlying diseases or who need to travel abroad.
Meanwhile, the person in charge of the Expanded Program on Immunization (PAI), Max Enríquez, mentioned that currently the prioritization of the fourth dose is focused on health personnel, the Bolivian Police and people with underlying diseases.
