In revealing the new plans of Edmundo González and María Corina Machado to generate a military intervention of the United States in Venezuela, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that competent agencies should open an investigation against González Urrutia and request international capture, for betrayal to the homeland and encourage an invasion.
During the program “With the Mazo giving”, Cabello described Edmundo González Urrutia as “fugitive from justice”, exiled in Spain, and accused him of promoting a foreign military intervention. “Delire with the idea of a military invasion of the United States (USA) against Venezuela, in its eagerness to take power by force,” he said.
Cabello revealed that María Corina Machado would have urged González Urrutia to sign a statement alone where she requests international intervention. “Cori knows that when asking for a military intervention for our country, he would be committing a crime that he does not prescribe, so he put Edmundo to sign a solito.” Fact that he considered perverse, “since he seeks it is to get rid of him.”
He also said that Machado would have devised a plan to press US President Donald Trump, where he used González as Emisario. “She asked Edmundo to record a video and publish a statement that she wrote, where they ask all the countries of the world that please intervene militarily in Venezuela.”
Cabello said González Urrutia, seeks to disconnect from María Machado and establish contacts with international actors. “Edmundo is looking for his own game, his escape.
