Students and teachers of the Teacher Training Institute will be today at the Merín Lagoon accompanied by referents of the Program or Silence or Taboo of the National Youth Institute of the Ministry of Social Development.
The activity is part of the stages prior to the socio -pedagogical missions that will take place in the early October school.

“In the preparation of the socio -pedagogical missions we do several interventions in territory. The first was in July where we met with all the neighbors and the school chiquilines to capture the needs. Now we go to a second intervention with a group of missionaries to present them the educational offer. Hernández recalled that the missions began 80 years ago, during the dictatorial period they were interrupted until they resumed again in 2010. “From that year they have become uninterrupted every year, except during the pandemic, attending some town in the interior of the country. This time the lagoon was chosen, last year they were made in Arévalo. The idea is to continue on that path because there is a very committed group. We are interested said.
