During the installation of their second session, the deputies of the Legislative Council of the Bolivarian State of Miranda (Clebm) approved Agreement No. 005-2025 in support of the defense of the homeland, sovereignty, peace and in support of President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
The document was presented by the legislator Eduardo Matos, president of the Commission for Security, State Policy and Human Rights, who called on the living forces of the Nation to permanent mobilization to defend peace and sovereignty before the “imperial attacks.”
He explained that the document manifests the unwavering support for President Maduro as commander in chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), and rejects foreign interventionism and any action that intends to break the constitutional thread.
The legislator Carlos Hernández, president of the Regional Development Commission, cited articles 322 and 325 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (CRBV), which establish co -responsibility in the defense of the country and said that the agreement is a firm and determined position in defense of the territory, which reaffirms the “libertarian spirit” of Venezuelans.
Legislator Gustavo Prieto, president of Clebm, said that Venezuela is a Peace People who defends their freedom at all costs and urges the people to stay united and vigilant, and supports the activation of the communal units of Militia to consolidate the national defensive system.
“When in Venezuela we say that we are a People of Peace, we do it with all its lyrics and surnames, because our history was written with the blood of our heroes. We are clear that freedom as peace must be defended at all costs,” he said.
From the Mirandino Legislative Palace they also recognize the work of Governor Elio Serrano and the security agencies.
