The United States, Mexico and Panama are among the favorite destinations, while the country expects greater arrival of foreign visitors.

Migration Colombia projects that, between October 4 and 13, 2025, More than 777,000 passengers will travel through the country’s airports. The figure represents a 6 % increase compared to the same 2024 periodconfirming the growth trend in the tourism sector.
Of the estimated total, 392,000 travelers will leave Colombia and 385,000 will enterwhich reflects a balanced flow between those who leave the territory and those who arrive.
Main Mobility Points
The highest concentration of travelers will be in the following airports:
- El Dorado (Bogotá)with him 61 % of the total.
- José María Córdova (Rionegro – Medellín)with him 17 %.
- Rafael Núñez (Cartagena)with him 7 %.
Fourth and fifth place are the terminals of Cali and the border crossing Rumichaca.
Most visited destinations
Among the international destinations preferred by Colombians are United States, Spain, Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic and Ecuador. On the other hand, they are expected to enter the country mainly tourists from United States, Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru and Chile.
Preparations and official recommendations
The general director of Migration Colombia, Gloria Arrierosaid that the entity is ready to meet high demand and highlighted the positive impact of tourism:
“These projections confirm that the country is going through a moment of growth. ‘The country of beauty’ receives more and more visitors, while our nationals travel more frequently, which demonstrates the role of tourism as a engine of development and national pride.”
Migration Colombia also called on citizens to prepare their trips in advance:
- Review the migratory requirements required by the country of destination.
- Have current passports.
- Register Bioming to expedite output and income processes, especially in the case of trips with minors.
