After 22 days, Mayor Julio César Llallico came to dialogue with Mallma and agreed a meeting for 4 pm on Tuesday, September 16, but never appeared, which outraged the suppliers. “It’s a mockery,” said lawyer Fredy Coarita, who questioned the indifference of the mayor.
After an hour of waiting, Coarita and the suppliers went to the office of mayor to ask if the appointment would be completed, but at that time the governor Jenny Marisol Andrés Livia appeared. She said that protesters do not have service orders or formal link with the municipality, and that their presence constitutes harassment against workers.
