Social Security Minister Wolney Queiroz said on Tuesday that the Benefit Management Program (PGB) is already in force and aims to reduce the line of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
The goal is that retirement, pensions and aid requests are analyzed within 45 days. The measure was announced in an interview with the program The Voice of Brazil.
According to the minister, initiative consists of joint efforts by servers outside the normal working hours, including weekendswith additional remuneration. THE 45 days was established in agreement with the Federal Court of Auditors (TCU).
“It is an incentive plan to reduce the queue, serve better and more people. We need to review because it is a demand from TCU, it is a legal demand to make these revisions to see who is still entitled to the benefit,” said Queiroz.
“Of course the answer is not always positive, sometimes people are not entitled, but that he gets the answer within this period of 45 days,” he added.
