Peru Gustronomic Fair will arrive in New York from September 19 to 21

The Peru Promotion Commission for Export and Tourism (Promperú) announced the realization of the gastronomic fair Peru Merry New York tastethat will be developed from September 19 to 21 in it GreenPoint Warehouse Brooklyn Terminal.

This is the second international edition of the Fair and represents a decisive step in the internationalization of the Peru Gusta brand. The goal is position Peruvian cuisine as an international travel engine to Perualso strengthening the links with the tourism and gastronomic sector of the United States.

For three days, the public can enjoy Peruvian restaurants in New York, a 360 Pisco bar, superfood area, live kitchen shows, Pisco ambassadors presentations and artistic and cultural expressions. Likewise, tourism and decoration proposals will be exhibited, consolidating a multisensory experience that hopes to attract more than 5,000 visitors.

The Fair reaches the Big Apple with the support of the world prestige of Peruvian gastronomyrecognized as Best culinary destination in the world for twelve consecutive years in World Travel Awards and with leading restaurants in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. To this is added the UNESCO recognition of the Peruvian ceviche as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2023)reaffirming its importance as a national identity symbol.

USA, Key Market for Peruvian Tourism

The United States is currently the main issuer of tourists towards Peruconcentrating the greatest amount of international arrivals via the Jorge Chávez airport in 2024.
