The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, described as “a murder” the second attack authorized by the president of the USA, Donald Trump, against a boat in the waters of the Caribbean Sea.
The destruction ordered by Trump to a boat with an alleged cargo shipment that was manned by three people allegedly of Venezuelan origin, is an issue that Petro addressed with concern during a new Council of Ministers in the House of Nariño.
“Thus carry cocaine, killing with a missile three passengers from a unarmed and non -armored boat is a murder,” said the Colombian president. At the same time that he emphasized that “the United States government is killing Latin American people in their own land, because it is a territorial sea, they do not have the right.”
The Colombian head of state recriminated that “if there are Latin Americans here who grants him the right to the United States to murder defenseless Latin American, they are nothing more than Cipayos.”

Trump said the operation “was executed by the South Command” following his orders.
He added that the action occurred while those indicated “were in international waters” and, as detailed in the text, “three men died in the operation and no US casualties were recorded.”
