The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela informs that, on September 14, 2025, the navigation of the frigate “Zr. Van Amstel” (F831) of the Navy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in waters adjacent to the exclusive economic zone of Venezuela was recorded, in front of La Orchila Island. This operation was carried out successfully thanks to the coordination made through diplomatic channels with the Kingdom of the Netherlandsin strict compliance with international protocols and current bilateral agreements, which guaranteed a climate of mutual trust and full transparency.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates that the fight against organized crime and transnational drug trafficking requires the coordinated commitment of the international community, always within the framework of respect for the law, sovereignty and international law, guaranteeing the effective strength of multilateral cooperation for the use of regional peace and security.
