What is MX key?
MX key is a technological solution that generates a digital and personal identity that will allow citizens to enter various Internet portals of the three government orders to carry out online procedures, request services and register in social programs.
This tool increases security, facilitates access to services and speeds up the interaction of citizens with the government.
What procedures can be done with it?
So far the MX key has been used for the following procedures:
- Registration to the new Rita Cetina basic education scholarship
- Registration for candidacies for the positions of the Judiciary
- Correction, obtaining and clarification of minutes of the Civil Registry (birth, marriage and death)
- Incident Information System and Accidents of the Security, Energy and Environment Agency (ASEA)
- Open market research for complementary purchase 2024
- Open market research for consolidated purchase 2025-2026
- Registration of suppliers with patent keys and single source of the consolidated purchase
However, the government ensures that the following will be integrated in the 2025-2026 period:
- Digital file for natural persons (citizenship) that will concentrate procedures, services and identity documents that they obtain from the government
- Digital file for moral people (companies) that will concentrate the procedures, services and documents of the constitution of companies that process with the government
- Documentary review and validation for the delivery of medicines and medical supplies in the health sector
Over time, more procedures and services will be incorporated, especially the most used and with the highest volume of citizens requests.

Steps to register your account
1. Enter the page https://www.llave.gob.mx And click on “Create Account”
2. Capture your CURP and mark the box “I am not a robot” to continue
3. If the CURP is cumbar, the personal data will be filled automatically
4. Enter your postal code and select the colony where you live
5. Place the contact data (email and cell phone) and click on “Next”
6. Create the password of your account, read the privacy notice, mark the box “I am not a robot”
7. Press finish and ready you will have the MX key

Both programs will open a record period in September so that new students can integrate, so it is important to know the documents and steps necessary to request this benefit.
These scholarships seek to reduce school dropout in the country through economic support aimed at millions of basic education students who wish to continue their academic training.
Each fellow receives a support of 1,900 pesos every two months. In the case of the Rita Cetina scholarship, additional 700 pesos are granted for each extra inscribed child.
According to the National Scholarship Coordination for Welfare Benito Juárez, students interested in receiving any of these scholarships must first process an MX key account.
