The Gre-Nal was initially scheduled for 19:00 on February 26, but it was not played because of an attack on the Tricolor delegation’s bus. The attack took place just over an hour before the ball rolled in Beira-Rio. Grêmio decided not to take the field and Inter agreed.
Grêmio midfielder Mathias Villasanti was hit in the face by a stone thrown at the bus. He had to spend the night at Moinhos de Vento hospital after tests showed head trauma and brain concussion. In addition, he had bruises on his face and a trauma to his hip.
David’s goal
This Wednesday, playing at home, Colorado took command of the actions from the beginning, lining up chances. The first came with just one minute, with a strong kick from Moses. And, after trying so hard, Internacional reached the winning goal in stoppage time, with forward David.
The second half had a very similar script, but without goals.
The teams return to the field for Gaúcho next Saturday (12), when Grêmio receives Ypiranga and Internacional measures forces with the lantern Guarany de Bagé.
