At least 15 people died this Saturday in an accident that involved three vehicles on a road that unites the cities of Mérida and Campeche, in southeastern Mexico, local authorities reported.
The accident was recorded after a cargo truck turned, hitting a compact vehicle and a truck that moved to workers’ workers, Yucatan Security Secretariat reported on its social networks.
“In the place 15 people killed” and two injured, the report detailed, said that among the deceased is the driver of the truck.
After the clash, the truck, which worked as a collective transport, was wrapped in flames and crossed on the road, is observed in images of the local press.
This is the third vehicular accident with numerous deceased that is recorded in Mexico in less than a week.
