The state capital receives this weekend the 2nd edition of Pride Nerd SP. The event brings together pop culture, technology, music and games for all ages. With free admission, the program takes place from 10am to 8pm, at the Brazilian Cultures Pavilion, in Ibirapuera Park.
One of the highlights is the parade and cosplay contest, held on the Nerd SP Pride Stage, led by the cosplayers Siul and Lu Himura. Access to the event is free, but it is necessary to accredit the site: Amigosdaarte.org.br/programs/orgão-nerd
In this edition, the public will have the Passport of Pride Nerd SP, an invitation to participate in the programming in an interactive and collectible way. Each square and activity of the Geek event will have exclusive stamps, created especially for the meeting. When attending the attractions, the visitor fills his passport and records his spell at the event.
In addition to the stamps, the passport is also space to store autographs of artists, designs of illustrators and messages from friends made throughout the programming. All passports are numbered, reinforcing the character of personal item, collection and memory.
On Sunday, there will be the pre-launch of the movie Ne Zha 2: The Renascer of the Soul, even before reaching Brazilian theaters. The exhibition will be from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at Cine Tokyo, on the 1st pavement of the pavilion.
In addition to watching the movie, visitors will meet the acting cast that gives life to animation, on the Nerd SP Stage, at 2 pm on Sunday. Bianca Alencar (Voice of Ne Zha), Mattheus Caliano (Director of Dubbing and Voice of the Deer), Leticia Quinto (voice of the Queen Run), Gilberto Baroli (voice of the king to Qin), Ana Helena de Freitas (Voice of the Heron) and Alexandre Maguolo (voice of guang) will share behind the scenes of work.
The public also has access to interactive attractions in Gamer Square, with 20 PS5 stations, highlighting the new star Bot; In the Praça Fun Offline, with board games, RPG, card games; In Escape Room – The secret of the last Shogun, with the challenge of saving Japan in an interactive adventure; and Pokémon Stop, space for exchanging cards and activities for franchise fans.
After the cosplay contest, the stage receives musical attractions. On Sunday, guests are Éodan, a Brazilian rapper that mixes hip hop and trap with social criticism, and Ishida, a pioneer in turning games from games such as League of Legends, into rap geek hits.
Artist Alley is a space where readers can meet their favorite illustrators and comic artists, willing to talk about their works, from the creative process to production and finishing.
Among the exhibitors planned for this edition are Anticomix, Phantom Potatoes, Asian and Brazilian Writers Collective, hypothetical publisher, Eduardo Pupa, Felipe Folgosi, Fran Matsumoto, Isaac Santos, Jefferson Costa, Karipola, Kenji Lambert, Maloca Games, Mario César, Regi Braz and Safira.
