The case
According to the fiscal investigation, in 2020, when Zanabria held the position of Chief of the PNP in Arequipa, he allegedly instructed police officers to carry out masonry work in a project within the facilities of the Arequipa police region. The inappropriate use of police personnel would have facilitated the detour and appropriation of resources for that construction.
Given this circumstance, the Public Ministry requested the suspension of Zanabria of his position at the police institution.
