In the framework of the V Congress of the United Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), the final declaration in defense of the Venezuelan people and for peace was signed, in which international thin ones of 21 countries require the retirement without conditions of the troops and the US military movement in the region, as well as the immediate cessation of the unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela.
The Vice President of International Affairs of the PSUV, Tania Díaz, said that 88 delegates from 21 countries, as well as national delegates, participated for 3 hours in an international work table, from which the document emerged.

Díaz said that “the malicious accusations and false narratives against Venezuela are specifically condemned, especially those that intend to point to our President Nicolás Maduro, who is the object of the dirty war propaganda campaign, war propaganda, so that through that false narrative try a beach head, aggression and war in the continent.”
He said that Latin America is the only region that does not have armed conflicts and “what was manifested this Friday at work tables was a firm position of directors of political parties, social movements, as well as representatives of governments’ parties, in terms of pointing out that we are a common cause against warrism.”
Díaz said that in the statement they adhere to that of the CELAC signed in Cuba, where a peace zone is declared to Latin America and demand respect for the Tlatelolco Treaty, which in 1967 declared Latin America and the Caribbean as a nuclear weapons free zone.
For its part, the Guatemalan delegate, Aura Escobar, said that it is a “common enemy” that is American imperialism.
“We are in defense of Venezuela and in defense of the great great homeland,” he said.
