Nestled in the last foothills of the Chiquitos massif and at the same door of the Amazon of Bolivia, the Guarayo indigenous people from Yaguarú, that translated into Spanish means, ‘The Earth of the Black Tiger’ And that this September 14 will be celebrating its 181 years of Foundation and its employer party.

For this reason, the leaders and authorities have prepared an attraction and nourished celebrations program, Starting with traditional religious, cultural, social, sports and productive activities.

The events will start this Saturday with the traditional ‘Meeting of Caciques’, At noon, and 5:00 p.m., the ‘save’ and religious procession. At 19:00 the typical student folk entry is scheduled and At 20:00 the evening Mass, The ‘cacique sermon’ and, ending the day before, the serenade in the Plaza de la Santa Cruz, in which the eastern trio and other local groups will act.

The festivities will continue Sunday 14, at 4 in the morning, With the ‘greeting to the dawn’, in the detonation of Camaretas, in charge of the district. The Mass will be at 8 in the morning, and then give way to the procession, around the square, with the image of the Santa Cruz, in which much of the population, eminently Catholic will participate.

In mid -morning it will be the opening of a New version of the productive, cultural and gastronomic fair, and then install the Honor session of the Municipal Councilin which distinction will be delivered to people outstanding for their work for the benefit of the region and special guests.

Rayando the noon will be a concert in charge of the Santa Cruz Symphony School, From Yaguarú, followed by a lunch of fraternity.

Leader Suárez, president of the Yaguaruceña communal center, invited the Black Tiger Party. “I invite you to visit us and thus can relive with us the living culture of this Guarayo people, reflected in its different manifestations, such as dance, music, meals and drinks,” said the communal authority.
