Students and teachers from the 8th and 9th grade of elementary school will be able to register until September 30 in the fourth edition of the National Energy Efficiency Olympics (Onee), the Educational Competition of the Electric Sector.
The event aims to arouse awareness of the responsible consumption of energy, sustainability and the social and economic impacts associated with the use of natural resources and combines the proposition of challenges with gamification, which consists of the application of games to increase engagement, motivation and participation.
The 2025 edition of Onee is promoted by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) and will have the joint performance of 48 electricity distributors in the country.
The expectation of the organizers is to achieve the participation of 500,000 students from recent years of elementary school across the country.

How to participate
Those interested in participating in the 2025 edition should register virtually in the website of the National Energy Efficiency Olympics. Participation is free.
Competition
In the first phase, students will participate in gamified challenges on energy efficiency. In the second stage, they will take an objective test, available in the website or application of Onee.
Teachers will also be supported by 40 -hour distance learning (EAD) and collective mentoring.
Award
The awards are for winning students and teachers. In addition to an exclusive training course for teachers, he will compete in the following modalities:
- Regional (100 teachers): the 20 teachers with more points in each of the 5 regions of Brazil receive a voucher of R $ 2 thousand;
- State (27 teachers): The teacher with the highest score in each state and in the Federal District gets a trip with expenses paid to Brasilia. If they are already among the 100 regional award -winning, they guarantee the award; If not, automatically replace the lower score teacher in the region.
- Additional National (3 teachers): The 3 teachers with the highest score in the national ranking receive vouchers of R $ 15 thousand (1st), R $ 10 thousand (2nd) and R $ 7,500 (3rd).
- By Featured Students (3 teachers): Educators of the three best placed students in Brazil receive vouchers of R $ 15 thousand, R $ 10,000 and R $ 7,500.
The award for students includes 10,000 medals for the best students and they also compete for special awards:
- State Award: The best student of each state and the Federal District receives a trip with all the expenses paid to Brasilia for the National Awards solemnity, with a guardian, and a notebook.
- Additional National Awards: The five best students in Brazil earn a voucher of $ 2,000.
