The judge of the Preparatory Investigation Court for Cases of Corruption of officials of the Superior Court of Justice of Arequipa, Janet Lastra Ramírez, suspended in the position for 18 months the general commander of the National Police, Víctor Zanabria Angulo.
The resolution declared the requirement of the Public Ministry that provides the preventive suspension of rights of the accused Víctor Zanabria Angulo in the modality provided for in literal B of subsection 1 of article 298 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
This suspension of the position of general commander of the National Police implies that the suspension of its functions also as head of the Police Operations Command for a period of 18 months.
