Professionals may finance 100 % of diplomas, certifications, language courses and technical programs to strengthen their future work.
News Colombia.
The Icetex decided to give an additional respite to those who seek to continue studying this year. The entity confirmed that The call for credits for short -term programs will remain open until October 30, 2025which will allow more people to postulate and ensure resources for their training.
It is a recently designed credit line to cover the entire registration in Diplomas, Language Courses, Certifications and Labor Technical Programs. With it, the institution seeks to respond to the growing demand for rapid and pertinent training, adjusted to labor market demands.
The payment plan offers some flexibility: the beneficiaries assume the 30 % of the value while studying the program and the 70 % remaining once the studies are finished. In addition, the deadlines vary according to the modality: in Continuing Education It is available up to 24 months to cancel the balance, while in the ETDH training the payment time can extend up to once and a half the duration of the course performed.
Those interested must meet some basic requirements: be Colombians, be admitted to an institution with an active agreement with the Icetex, have a solidarity debtor and, if they have previously accessed credits, have their quotas up to date and have paid at least half of the pending debt.
For the president of Icetex, Álvaro Urquijothe extension of deadlines is a specific opportunity: “We want more students to strengthen their work profile with short and accessible programs, which allow them to acquire new competences without expecting long periods of training.”
