Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Republic Chamber of Accounts (CCRD) received a courtesy visit of deputies members of the Permanent Commission of Camera of Accounts of the Camera of Deputieswith the aim of strengthening initiatives oriented to control and control, as well as magazine to the work carried out by the new management.
The deputy Rogelio Genao LanzaPresident of the Commission, said that “This visit is a boost to the new management, and said that citizen perception is that the current composition of the Chamber of Accounts has started positively”, At the time of highlighting the importance of making contributions to improve control and control laws.
“This is a courtesy visit of the Permanent Commission of the Chamber of Accounts to this new Chamber of Accounts of the Dominican Republic, with the purpose of reviewing the work carried out and dialogue on projects that can contribute to institutional strengthening, such as the update of the Law of Affidavit and other initiatives related to the control and the controlL, ”said the congressman.
In that sense, it positively valued the work of the new plenary. “This management has started very well. We see the productivity that the Chamber of Accounts has had, and from the Congress we will be vigilant of its performance so that the results conclude as they have begun: in a positive way”
For her part, the president of the Plenary, Emma Polanco Melo, highlighted the importance of the visit of the deputies and the monitoring of the institutional work:
“It is a courtesy visit to review some of the projects we are developing. Those who have followed up in the media already know the work of the first hundred days of this management and how we continue advancing in the fulfillment of our functions”, He said.
The Permanent Chamber of Accounts Commission is in charge of studying, analysis and presentation of proposals on the reports issued by the CCRD.
The activity was carried out in the meetings of the headquarters of the CCRD and was headed by the president of the Plenary, Dr. Emma Polanco Melo; the vice president, Mr. Francisco Tamárez Florentino; and the members, graduates Francisco Franco, Ramón Méndez Acosta and Griselda Gómez Santana.
