Venezuela Defense Doctrine is the most advanced in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Defense Doctrine of the Venezuelan State is the most advanced in Latin America and the Caribbean, built on a strategic security concept that breaks with the colonial vision of the past, said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

He explained that this new concept, founded by the eternal commander Hugo Chávez, replaced the ancient doctrine that considered the people as the internal enemy, and that turned the Armed Forces and the State into a branch of American power.

The Head of State pointed out that the current doctrine prioritizes the uninitated, peaceful, constitutional and legal struggle, and encompasses political, electoral, cultural, social, ideological, spiritual and economic aspects. He also highlighted the Plan of the Homeland of the Seven Transformations as a fundamental pillar of this model, which seeks the development of the country.

The Defense Doctrine has allowed the country to face and overcome various forms of aggression, from the 2002 coup d’etat to the Guarimbas of the years 2014 and 2017, as well as the economic war began a decade ago. “We have all faced with a strategy, a doctrine, a plan and a united people,” he said.

President Maduro indicated that the success of the Bolivarian Government’s economic plan has allowed Venezuela to resurrect its own ashes, to achieve an exemplary, diversified growth model, which supplies, produces and expands.

«Backing is not alternative to us. Independence has no alternative. The rebel freedom of our people has no alternative. The Republic has no alternative, ”he said, and then indicate that Venezuela will never kneel against any power.

He also stressed that imperialism with his military threats has aroused a giant: the giant people of Venezuela, the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Commander Hugo Chávez.

“Venezuela has an atomic bomb: an empowered people, in the territory, throughout the country, in the cities, in the fields, from north to south, from east to west,” he said.
