The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago pointed out that the bodies will be recovered in the event that they reach the Trinitenses coast. Diosdado Cabello said that the official is also responsible in this case


The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad-Bissssar, reported on Wednesday, September 10 that she will not look for the bodies of the alleged drug traffickers attacked last week by the United States in the Caribbean.

«We will not waste our resources looking for those bodies. The resources of our coastal guard will be used to protect our borders, not to look for dead drug traffickers, ”said the president in a press conference.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the bodies will be recovered in the event that they reach the Trinitenses coast.

In this context, two bodies appeared between Friday and Sunday on the coasts of the northeast of Trinidad, the main island of the archipelago, and it is suspected that they could be linked to the attack.

With these Persad-Bisssesar statements he responded to the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, who asked the Trinitense Prime Minister to seek the corpses of the crew aboard the boat with alleged drug traffickers that was attacked by the United States on September 2.
