Motorcycle production grew in August, achieving the best result of the year. This is what points out the balance released on Wednesday (10) by the Brazilian Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, Dyntilers, Motorists, Bicycles and Similar (Abraciclo).
In August, manufacturers installed at the Manaus Industrial Pole produced a total of 185,952 motorcycles, which represented a 13.4% growth compared to the same month last year and 32.6% compared to July. This production was the best result of the year and also the best performance for a month of August since 2011.
Abraciclo’s balance sheet also indicates a growth in retail motorcycle sales. In August, 185,515 motorcycles were licensed, volume 13.2% higher than the same month of 2024. However, there was a 4% retraction in sales compared to July.

Exports
In August 2,942 motorcycles were boarded for the foreign market, a drop of 11.9% compared to the same month of 2024 and up 9.8% compared to July.
From January to August, a total of 24,232 motorcycles were exported by Brazil, which meant growth of 9.3% over the same period last year.
