Work is being executed in several streets of Nueva Palmira. With regard to Cordón-Cuenta, Mayor Andrés Passarino Seañló to El Co that “in this first stage it covers the section between Chile and the United States streets, from ibicuy to Uruguay, and will continue to the coast between Ibicuy and Uruguay”.
In addition, “a new road access is projected by 2027 on Chile Street, from Rondeau to Ibicuy (more than 1,000 meters), with lighting and paths,” he announced.
A double route to the port is also planned, by Route 12, from Argentine Street to the bridge near the port entrance, including the reconstruction of the roundabout at the intersection of overseas and Peru.
