In the first semester of 2025 there were 76 possible femicides in Venezuela, with 15 cases documented in June, according to a sub -registration carried out by the Utopix investigation.
In addition, this period has been the largest number of frustrated femicides with 15 cases, and 16 murders of Venezuelans abroad were counted, which occurred in countries such as Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Chile, Spain, Colombia and Ecuador, as revealed by the study published on its website.
Given this alarming situation, the research highlights the urgency of implementing a feminist emergency plan. This plan must focus on the prevention, attention and mitigation of gender violence against women, girls and adolescents.
