Fanb mobilizes 25 thousand troops to reinforce the border defense

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered the deployment of 25 thousand members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the Binational Peace Zone with Colombia and on the country’s Caribbean facade. The measure, announced through its Telegram channel, has as its main objective to reinforce national security and sovereignty in these strategic areas.

The mobilization of military personnel seeks to strengthen the operations of the rapid reaction units (URRAS) on the borders, especially in the binational zone that borders Colombia. The deployment covers an extensive strip of territory, from the La Guajira state to Falcón, and will also extend to the Eastern Caribbean-Atlantic facade.

The announcement of President Maduro also indicates that the Armed Forces will also be deployed in the states of Nueva Esparta, Sucre and Delta Amacuro. This reinforcement, in the east of the country, seeks to cover a wide geographical spectrum, which covers both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, in an effort to consolidate the maritime and territorial security of the country.

The defense of national sovereignty, the security of the country and the struggle for peace were pointed out as the primary reasons of the mobilization. The deployment of 25 thousand soldiers and military personnel is one of the greatest security operations in the recent history of Venezuela, which demonstrates the seriousness with which the government addresses the protection of its borders.

Fanb in country protection

The official statement stressed the role of the FANB in the protection of the country, emphasizing the army’s commitment to the nation. The phrase “Venezuela is defended by Venezuelans and Venezuelans!”, The statement concluded, in which the call to unity and patriotism in the defense of the territory reaffirms.

This massive deployment occurs in a context of constant threats from the United States government, which has deployed nuclear ships and submarines in the Caribbean; Reason which the FANB mobilization will not only ensure borders, but will also send a clear message about the determination of the country to protect their national interests against any threat.
