“From today (9th), all soccer games with 100% occupancy in São Paulo’s stadiums are allowed and this also applies to all other outdoor sports in São Paulo,” said Doria.
The release comes two months after the government of São Paulo announced a reduction in audience capacity at football games. Since January, football stadiums in the state of São Paulo could only play matches respecting the limit of 70% of the occupancy capacity and presenting proof of complete vaccination.
