The woman wore a typical suit and after receiving the greeting of the president, she gave her property title. Moments after this, the woman fell heavily to the ground.
As reported, the woman’s fading was the product of emotion and exposure to cold. The beneficiary was helped by firefighters and managed to recover shortly after.
The event occurred in the middle of the delivery of more than 170 thousand property titles in the housing sector, which symbolized for many families the end of a long wait to formally access the property of their lots.
“It is those emotions that must unite us as Peruvian families and that is the way the government responds to thousands of citizens who have waited for decades to access formalization,” said the president during her intervention.
The Executive reported that the titles allow beneficiaries to access mortgage loans, expand their homes or inherit their land with full legal security.
