The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) deployed 415 points of citizen service throughout the Venezuelan territory, as part of the Bolivarian shield strategic operation. These modules allowed the seizure of a huge volume of illicit materials, as reported by the general commander of the GNB, m/g Elio Estrada Paredes.
“A very important result has been obtained that contributes to the tranquility and calm of Venezuelans,” said Estrada, who indicated that the military entity actively fights against individuals such as paramilitaries and mercenaries, to prevent the entry of smuggling, weapons and drugs.
