In social networks, a user identified as ‘Digital Wild’, released a video in which the mayor of Lima Rafael López Aliaga is seen speaking of journalist Jaime Chincha, who unfortunately died last Sunday, September 7.
The clip caused negative reactions and outrage. However, the mayor has accused that the video has been manipulated with artificial intelligence and that he will criminally denounce those responsible for the dissemination of the material.
“What does a scoundrel who is already criminally denounced, which is called Digital Wild?
“I will proceed with a second criminal complaint because I have identified the subject who manages that account, but I do not forgive this because he is playing with a person who has died. He cannot continue using social networks at will,” he added.
In that sense, he stressed that it was the first authority to pay tribute to the journalist after his death.
“I regret that people spread information without verifying. I tell journalism. Digital wild is called. The press is not a savage. The press is an honest profession,” he said.
Asked for a minute of silence
It should be remembered that Rafael López Aliaga interrupted the same Sunday, the day the journalist Jaime Chincha died, a public event in Manchay, to pay tribute to confirm the sad news.
“I’m going to stop because I have a news recently. I want to ask for a minute of silence by the journalist Jaime Chincha. I hope he is in heaven. I have had great discrepancies with him, but at this moment we are talking about the human being,” he said.
“A greeting to heaven, Jaime Chincha. I think that above politics or ideological discrepancy, there is respect and fraternity. Love us, that is the base,” he added.
