The Oversight Commission summoned for this Wednesday, March 9, the former Minister of Defense John Carrasco Millionsand to Hugo Chávez Arévalo, head of Petroperú, in the framework of the investigations that are being carried out into the alleged clandestine meetings that would have been held in the house of Jirón Sarratea, in Breña.
In addition to the aforementioned characters, businessmen Marco Antonio Zamir Villaverde García, Roberto Jesús Aguilar Quispe, Jian Esgleyder Baca Gonzales are also expected to appear. Patricia Adali Sovero Niño, Gian Marco Castillo Gómez and Cintya Raquel Rudas Murga, National Superintendent of State Assets, are also expected to attend.
It should be noted that Carrasco Millones, being Minister of State, attended Sarratea’s house. Before the Defense Commission, the then minister said that although he visited the building, he did not have any meeting with the President of the Republic.
“I did not meet with anyone, I was alone all the time waiting for the meeting to take place and it did not happen.”, he said when responding to his appearance in a video broadcast by the program Fourth Pruner in which he is seen arriving at the house in Breña.
The last item on the commission’s agenda for the day is the lifting of bank secrecy, the tax reserve and the secrecy of the communications of those under investigation Karelim Lopez Arredondo, Bruno Pacheco Castillo and Fray Vásquez Castillo.
