The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) authorized the appointment of 460 higher -level approved in the 2025 public tender of the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA).
Of this total, there are 130 vacancies for the position of Administrative Analyst. The others, 330 vacancies are from the position of Environmental Analyst.
THE Ordinance MGI No. 7,522/2025, which authorizes the nominations, was published on Monday (8, in Official Gazette of the Union and is Signed by MGI Minister Esther Dweck.

Next step
The next step before appointment – the verification of documents and requirements of the approved – is the responsibility of IBAMA. The objective is to guarantee only those who meet all the requirements.
The appointments still depend on the existence of vacancies on the date of possession and proof of budget and financial adequacy, in accordance with the Annual Budget Law (LOA), which defines the current budget; and the Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO), which establishes tax goals and priorities.
The measure ensures that reinforcement in the staff is compatible with the sustainability, or “tax health” of the State – which means that the federal government can only appoint new servers if it has a budget to pay the salaries of the approved.

The final result of the contest was released on August 7 by the Brazilian Center for Research on Evaluation and Selection and Event Promotion (Cebraspe), Examining Board of the event, and can be checked in Official Gazette of the Union.
The approved workday will be 40 hours per week, with a monthly compensation of R $ 9,994.60 for all positions, plus qualification bonuses: for specialization course (R $ 464), masters (R $ 922) or doctorate (R $ 1,387).
The approved candidate may be housed in any unit of Ibama, within the federation unit where he ran for the vacancy, at the discretion of the Institute.
According to the notice which establishes the rules of the selection process, the term of validity of the competition is one year from the date of publication of the approval of the final result in August. And may be extended once for an equal period.
