Children’s kidnapping is an old gringa morning

Children's kidnapping is an old gringa morning

Kinding minors is a recurring practice of the governments of the United States, although the intention is not clear, the evidence throughout history shows families dismembered by this inhuman Washington policy.

About this issue, Deputy Gilberto Giménez, a member of the National Assembly Commission of the National Assembly, stressed that it is nothing new. “In the first administration of Donald Trump, we saw prisons where they deposited the children of Mexican migrants who were also deported from the United States,” Giménez said in the last news, being consulted regarding the complaint of the Mothers Heroines movement about the kidnapping of 70 children by the United States government.

The parliamentarian stressed that in order to understand this issue, we must look at the past, to see that the government’s performance, Republican or Democrat, from the United States has been very similar.

Giménez recalled Operation Peter Pan, where the CIA and the State Department snatched their parents from more than 14,000 Cuban children between the 1960s and 1962, with a fear campaign. “It was an induced process. An opinion matrix was generated in Cuba, where the government was supposedly to remove the parental authority of the children to the parents and the Communist Party was indoctrinated and under the excuse they were going to save, to rescue the children, they took 14,000 minors in this operation.”

He also recalled the kidnapping of 3,300 children in Vietnam in 1975, by the US government at the end of the war, with Operation Babylift, which was used to improve the image of the administration of Gerald Ford. “When we see this type of operations we realize that there is a behavior from the United States towards the subject of children and now with the excuse of migration.”

He warned of the psychological impact that causes this type of damage to the personality of a child who is in formation, for loneliness, uprooting and violence. Finally, the deputy called for not stopping pressure. “This is not a issue only from the national government, this is something that has to move and mobilize all, because to the extent that we are on the street and make noise this is captured by the international press and even though they intend to silence it will generate a lot of noise and pressure so that these children are returned to their parents.”

Repatriation

On August 19, members of the Heroin Mothers Movement and the president of the Vuelta a la Paria plan, Camilla Fabri, demanded the return of the 70 minors kidnapped in the US.

Likewise, this August 25, the Supreme Court of Justice, gathered in the Social Chamber, decreed a preventive measure in favor of children, ordering their immediate return. For their part, the relatives of the minors express their realities. Gabriela González, is a grandmother of Angerson Valencia, 8 years old, who has been in the US for 2 years. “He left with my daughter, I am the maternal grandmother. He left with my daughter, but they deported her. She asked for deportation with her child and did not give it to her, they sent her alone.”

He indicated that despite having constant communication with the girl, he feels uncertainty of what can happen to her granddaughter. González trusts the efforts of President Nicolás Maduro to recover the children, as well as the repatriation of 252 Venezuelans kidnapped in El Salvador. “We trust that he will help us recover our children,” he exclaimed.

Sintia Cáceres, is another Venezuelan grandmother who cries out for the repatriation of her four -year -old granddaughter, Aurore Gloriáns Cáceres, who is held in the United States.
The girl was separated from her father, after she is arrested by the United States immigration and customs control service in Atlanta. The child is now under the custody of a host family in Columbus, Georgia, and his own have no communication with her.

The family’s odyssey began more than a month ago. After the father’s arrest, the girl was in charge of his couple, who handed it to the immigration authorities. Grandma, desperate, recounts that a social worker prevented any contact, cutting communication. “The fight is to get my son and also get my granddaughter to return,” he told Unique.

Also Anabel Bustamante, a 26 -year -old mother resident of Los Teques, implores for help to meet with her two daughters, 7 and 3 years old. She narrated that her girls were alone in a vehicle after her partner, who took care of them at that time, outside the gringas authorities.

“The situation is desperate. Every time I talk to them they always ask me what when I am going to look for them,” said the young mother.

Despite being able to communicate with them through video calls, the distance is an immense emotional burden for this Venezuelan mother, a member of the Movement of Heroines, who together with the Bolivarian Government make the necessary steps to repatriate their children from the American territory.

Presidential commitment

President Nicolás Maduro has reaffirmed his commitment to the “rescue and liberation” of Venezuelan children held by the customs immigration and control service in the United States. In a direct call to the first American lady, Melania Trump, the president appealed to her “human and Christian conscience” to review the letter sent by the mothers of the affected minors.

Maduro said his government will assert the rights of these children and migrants who have suffered “psychological and physical torture”, in addition to “abuse and imprisonment without trial” in US territory. And in compliance with his word, last Friday three children who were held in the US arrived in the country.

The infants Isaac David Lovera Reyes (5 years), Yoisner Eduardo Graterol Jaramillo (7 years) and Robin Leonardo Cárdenas Galviz (14 years) returned
on flight number 65 of the return plan to the homeland.
