They prepare 10 proposals to raise agricultural exports

  3. Simplify logistics inspections: facilitate logistics operations, flexible schedules and avoid “box per box” inspections.

  4. Maintain and raise the quality of the products: Implement quality control programs that meet international standards and mechanize processes.

  5. Guarantee export stability: avoid prohibitions of exports, promote long -term contracts and invest in cold storage and chain.

  6. Promote and strengthen associativity: boost the training of producers’ cooperatives to share technologies and negotiate better prices in international markets.

  7. Protect brands: strengthen normative capabilities to solve registration conflicts of traditional brands abroad with legal actions.

  8. Establish health control and disease eradication: modernize the National Agricultural Health System with containment and eradication programs of agricultural diseases and pests of food or economic importance.

  9. Encourage industrialization and diversification: promote product processing (such as bananas or fruits) to open market in the Middle East and Europe.

  10. Promote emerging and ethnic products: Promote crops such as Pitahaya, Honey, Casabe, etc., with certification and marketing campaigns, focused on diaspora.
