The victory of the team led by coach José Roberto Guimarães was highlighted by Brazilian Gabi, the highest scorer of the match with 35 points and elected the best tip of the competition.
Champion Italy
The title of the competition was with Italy, which defeated Brazil in the semifinal last Saturday. To secure the second achievement of the World Championship (the first trophy was reached in 2002), the Italian team defeated Turkey by 3 sets to 2 (25/23, 13/25, 26/24, 19/25 and 15/8) this Sunday.
