The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, informed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces ratifies its support for the activation of five thousand 336 militia communal units and defined them as a monolithic block that are intended for the defense of peace and sovereignty of the national territory.
Through a message on his telegram channel, the Minister for Defense said that the militiaian communal units represent a territorial defensive system at its expression, “in addition to faithfully reflecting the civic-military-political fusion as the commander Hugo Chávez visualized,” he added.
