In the San Antonio sector, of the Carida indigenous community, Amazonas State, three individuals were arrested for operating an illegal mining camp, according to the FANB Strategic Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account of the Instagram social network.
In the message it is denoted that the activities of the complex violated the law of the environment and the sixth transformation of the 7T plan.
The subjects were apprehended during the patrol of a rapid reaction unit (URRA) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), which works under the comprehensive defense network (Redi N ° 6 Guayana), as part of the Bolivarian shield 2025.
Among the seized materials, it identified:
- Three thousand liters of fuel typesoline, stored in plastic drums.
- Two electric plants.
- 15 Motobombs of 13 horsepower.
- Two mining engines of a cylinder.
- Two demolving hammers.
- Two mill axes.
- 10 mill drawers.
- 800 meters of four -inch high pressure hose.
- 20 sieve carpet rolls.
- A metal detector.
- Four mining blades.
- 20 Molino straps and other materials used for illegal mining.
Subsequently, all objects were incinerated at the scene, which functioned as a logistics support for illegal mining activities. In addition, this procedure was duly notified to the Public Ministry.
